Hello there! I am currently a senior (yay CLASS of 2014!) at an awesome school. Also, I am currently in the most innovative and involved teacher on campus who is my math analysis teacher. I am the second out of four girls and I love my sisters and parents to death. I also am really close to my godmother, who is a second time brain aneurysm survivor, and she has motivated me and loved me as her own daughter. I am a really determined student and a great friend to the people I hold dear to me.
I look forward to my future frequently and often panic because it is quite difficult to meet my own expectations. I would love to work in nursing with children or cancer patients. I have grown to love children while I volunteer for an after school program where I help them learn to read, do math, or anything they need. Other than that, I am really in love with nature, since in my life it is key to finding some inner peace, living in a chaotic city. As a result, every summer ever since I was two, I have gone camping to a variety of places in California and Texas. I also enjoy music, particularly psychedelic music, and love finding music that makes me almost tear up of "joy".
As a student, I enjoy my science classes because I think of them as a challenge where I find out more about the little details, no one really pays attention to. I also like my history classes since I get to learn more about how the world turned out to be the way it is in its culture, structure, and beliefs. Also, I enjoy reading a lot of novels, autobiographies, and looking closely at details. I learn better by practicing the concepts and by focusing on the key concepts. I feel like I haven't quite found the best way to learn. Anyways, that is all for now about myself.
